We started with a learning to fill our own wonton, and use them in a delicious wonton soup topped with chili crisps. Then enjoyed Vietnamese Meatballs wrap served with a mango slaw, and cilantro cashew sauce. And finished with a bright and warming Chinese five spice orange cake with a coconut almond whipped cream.

This is my last Lunch with Lydia until further notice. Check out my other weekend or week night classes on my page.
Tonight was a special night for me. Three years, Tonight was a special night for me. Three years, these girls were in 2nd grade and still trying to find ways to stay involved during Covid. They were one of my first virtual classes. And since then, we have made a meal together. Now, here, we are, three years later for our final meal together before they graduate out of 5th grade.

The joy of teaching is seeing their growth of confidence, those spark of joy, and hearing. "I did that!" With pride and surprise!

These 24 girls have a special place in my heart ❤️!
